  • Whats is RENT AND DIY? How does it work?

    RENT AND DIY is a business model that offers numerous options to clients at an affordable cost because services are not included.


    Renting is the easiest way to create beautiful decorations without the need to purchase items that you'd be left with after the party. On the other hand, DIY is the most cost-effective way to save money by decorating the party yourself.


    All party sets are designed for DIY, making them easy to set up. However, please note that rentals must be picked up on Fridays and returned on Mondays; delivery service is not available. Both pick-up and return are at the customer's expense.

  • How difficult is it to set up the decoration by myself?

    All our items are designed to be easy and quick to set up! You will receive assembly instructions during pickup, along with some helpful instructional videos.

  • Where is the store located?

    FESTA PARTY SUPPLIES operates as a home-based rental business in Queensborough, New Westminster, BC.

    Please note that we do not have a physical store. Our customer service is available exclusively via WhatsApp messages during the following hours: Monday to Friday, 10 am - 8 pm.

  • Is it possible to view the items in person before making a selection?

    No, all our services are conducted online. You can browse and choose from our entire selection on our website or through WhatsApp messages. Physical visits are only necessary for pickup and return at our address.

  • Is it possible to contact the store by phone to discuss my order?

    No, we do not accept phone calls for order inquiries.

    All communication must be conducted via messaging, specifically through WhatsApp. This approach allows us to maintain a record of all transactions.

    But don't worry; it's the easiest way for you to access all the information you need, complete with pictures. Send us a message, and you'll see how quickly we can assist you!

  • How can I request a quote?

    Please reach out to us by sending a message through WhatsApp

  • How do I book the items I've chosen?

    Simply message us via WhatsApp, and we'll assist you in booking your party set!

    Reservations require a non-refundable 50% payment of the total amount via e-transfer. 

  • How far in advance do I need to book my party set?

    It is up to you, but to guarantee the availability of your desired theme on your party date, we recommend contacting us as early as possible. 

    We update our booking window monthly, and our calendar is open for reservations up to 3 months in advance. 

    Additionally, please note that we also have a waiting list where you can be notified when the month of your party is open for bookings.

  • How much is the delivery fee?

    We do not offer delivery services.

    Pick-up and return are the customer's responsibility.

    All rentals must be picked up on Friday and returned on Monday, except on holidays.

  • When can I pick up the items? When do I need to return them?

    Pick-up is always on Fridays, and the return of rentals is always on Mondays, except on holidays.

    From 10 am to 8 pm.

  • What if my party is on a weekday?

    I'm sorry, but we are only available for events held on weekends and cannot assist with weekday parties.

  • Will the decorations fit in my car?

    The majority of our items are foldable and can even fit in small cars! Don't worry; all the details will be discussed during the booking process.

    If you have an SUV, that's perfect! You won't have to worry about space!

  • Can I pick up my rentals on Thursday?

    Yes, it's possible, but there is a $10 extra fee for picking up your items one day before the agreed-upon day.

  • I won't be able to return my rentals on Monday. Can I return them on Tuesday instead?

    Yes, you can, but there will be a $10 extra fee for returning the items one day after the agreed-upon day.

  • How long can I keep the items?

    You will have them for the weekend. 

    Pick up your rentals on Friday and return them on Monday.

  • My event is on Saturday, can I return it on Sunday?

    Nope, we are closed on weekends. 

    The return is always on Mondays.

  • My event is on Sunday, can I pick up my rentals on Saturday?

    Nope, we are closed on weekends. 

    The pickup is always on Fridays.

  • Do you have the ______ theme?

    We offer a selection of more than 170 themes, which you can browse on our website under the 'THEMES' tab.

  • I couldn't find the theme I need. What should I do? Do you create new themes?

    Please send us a WhatsApp message! Even if it's not on the site yet, we're already working on it. If not, I can show you the available items that can complement your desired theme.

  • Can I choose individual pieces from one theme and combine them with pieces from other themes?

    The kits are pre-made to help with visualization, but you can make small changes if necessary. Please note that the kits are offered at a promotional price, and individual pieces may have a higher cost.

  • I want a different color scheme for the theme I chose. Can I change it?

    Certainly! We can customize all party sets with the colors you prefer, based on the items we already have.

  • Do you customize backdrops with my childs name?

    Nope, we do not customize backdrops, however, you can add cut outs with your child's name on the backdrop. It can be made of paper and attached with masking tape, or made out of vinyl.

    You can not use any glue on our backdrops.

  • Where can I find the prices?

    You can find the prices on our website under the tabs 'PRICES,' 'TABLES,' and 'BACKDROPS.' Detailed prices are also available in our Instagram highlights under 'PRICES.

  • Do you rent table and chairs for guests, kids table with chairs, tablecloth for a round table, popcorn machine, cotton candy machine, or chocolat fountain?

    Nope. We only have the items listed on our website.

  • What are 'MINI BOX,' 'SMALL BOX,' 'MEDIUM BOX,' and 'LARGE BOX'?

    The 'BOXES' refer to pre-made kits containing plates, fake cake, characters, and sometimes flowers, along with the child's name and age, crates, and additional items according to the theme. These kits encompass ALL items ON the tables. Please note that tables, tablecloths, backdrops, balloons, plinths, etc., are NOT included in the box price.

    You can mix and match the kits with any table option.

  • Do I need to get the BOX, or can I rent just the furniture?

    No, you don't need to get a BOX. You can rent only backdrops and tables.

    Our prices are all separate, allowing every client to choose only what is needed and fits their budget. However, our minimum order is $50.

  • I don't need the fake cake; can I remove it from the kit?

    The fake cake is included in the BOX price, but if you don't need it, I can remove it and give you a $5 discount.

  • How do I attach the candle to the fake cake?

    I will provide an acrylic piece for you to affix the candle and place it on top of the cake.

    Please note that the use of sparkler candles on our items is FORBIDDEN.

  • Can I rent just an $8 tablecloth or only the fake cake?

    Nope, we work with a minimum order of $50. 

  • Are balloon garlands available? How do they work in a DIY style, and what's the cost?

    Yes, we offer balloon garlands. 

    They will be provided to you ready for attachment to the backdrop or wall, and I will provide instructions during pickup.

    Prices range from $50 to $120. For information on sizes, colors, and pricing, please message us via WhatsApp.

  • How much for setup?

    All party sets are designed for DIY, but if you require assistance, you can hire our personnel.

    The price for a full setup is $500+

  • What taxes apply?

    GST and PST, totaling 12%, will be added to the final rental price.

  • What's the cancellation policy?

    In the event of party cancellation, the booking payment is non-refundable. However, you can retain a portion of the amount as credit for future bookings within one year.
